’63er Stratocaster Relic Aged Metallic
The brain child of our electric guitar department heads Dennis and Norbert, our buyer Achim and of course Mr Custom Shop himself, Olli Lohmann, has enjoyed great popularity since its birth in winter 22/23. Some instruments from this special run are still available in various great colours and the eye-catching Relic Metallic finish.

Specs
The ingredients of these pieces of sugar are a body made from lightweight sorted alder, a quartersawn maple neck with Olli's favourite 60s style oval ‘C’ neck profile and a dark AAA rosewood fingerboard. The Handwound 60/63 pickup set provides the outstanding, Strat-typical sound.
Relic
In terms of artificial ageing, we have come up with something special for the 1963 Metallic Run. The guitars basically correspond to the Relic type, the middle stage between the more discreet Journeyman Relic (known from our Dealer Select models) and the aggressive Heavy Relic. However, the hardware is kept in the lightest Relic level, Closet Classic, in favour of better adjustability. The back of the neck has been given the robust Heavy Relic for the pleasant feeling of a played-in neck.
Colors
The run includes 12 different colours that will make your mouth water: Black, Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red, Purple, Charcoal Frost, Burgundy Mist, British Racing Green, but also rarer finishes such as Candy Tangerine, Teal Green, Copper, Inka Silver or Shoreline Gold. In combination with the parchment parts and the pickguard in mint, the result is an eye candy that is second to none.
