The whole story of Nik Huber Guitars

Since its foundation, the company around Nik Huber has continuously set new standards in the guitar world and has secured a place in the hands of professional musicians, collectors and enthusiasts thanks to its consistent quality and innovation. The brand stands for exclusivity, as the guitars are only produced in small, limited numbers, making each instrument a rare and valuable piece.

Nik Huber's entry into the art of guitar making

Nik Huber began his journey as a guitar maker in 1993 and three years later, in 1996, founded his own company in his hometown of Rodgau, Germany. As a member of a family that has been involved in woodworking for four generations, the move into guitar making seemed almost preordained. His experience as a musician, having spent a lot of time on stage and on tour himself, also helped to make this path a natural one for him.

After all, you could say that a guitar maker is nothing more than a musician who leaves his rock star dreams behind and allows his passion for music to flow into the art of woodworking.

In those early years, Nik acquired extensive knowledge about building first-class guitars. Since his first participation at the Frankfurt Music Fair in 1997 and the NAMM Show in 2002, he quickly established himself as a renowned guitar maker known for instruments of the highest quality.

As his reputation grew, so did the company: Today, the team of highly qualified specialists in the workshop in Rodgau produces around 350 instruments a year, which are prized all over the world.

Nik Huber Guitars understands the special significance that high-quality, handmade instruments have in the world of music. At a time when there are countless guitars to choose from, Nik Huber guitars made in Germany take pride of place.

These instruments are not only a dream for many musicians, but also companions for life - guitars that are saved for, treasured for decades and passed down through generations. The joy of creating such guitars for players worldwide is deeply rooted in the company's philosophy.

Well-known musicians in the Nik Huber family

Numerous well-known musicians rely on Nik Huber guitars due to their outstanding quality, tonal versatility and precision craftsmanship. Bernd Kurtzke and Peter Baumann from Beatsteaks, Ian D'Sa from Billy Talent, David Sullivan and Maurice Bryan Giles from Red Fang and Andreas “Kuddel” von Holst from Die Toten Hosen are among the best-known artists who rely on Nik Huber. Max Giesinger and many other artists also appreciate Nik Huber's instruments. Bassists are also enthusiastic about the outstanding quality of Nik Huber: James Johnston from Biffy Clyro, for example, has sworn by his Rietbergen bass for years, which supports him live and in the studio.
