Introducing: Your Dream Instrument from Fender

Every info for your decision
At the end of 1958, Fender gave the Telecaster a facelift. From then on, the neck was fitted with a glued-on rosewood fingerboard, which, compared to the earlier one-piece maple necks, provided a warmer sound. New exciting and eye-catching finishes were also added, offering an alternative to the classic Blonde and Sunburst. In addition to the already familiar ash, alder was now also added as a body wood. The white pickguards were now fastened with eight screws instead of five, and from 1963 onwards multi-ply white pickguards were used.
Despite the numerous changes, the characteristic twang sound of the Telecaster was of course retained. The clear, long decaying sounds of the Telecaster clearly set it apart from the fat Gibson style jazz sound. The Fender Custom Shop has set itself the task of studying the high-quality vintage Telecasters of yesteryear and reproducing them down to the smallest detail. Here we have a very special Custom Shop one-off for you, modelled on a Tele from Fender's heyday:
The Fender LTD Custom Shop 60 Telecaster Heavy Relic Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst is a classic T-style electric guitar with a two-piece alder body. Alder wood was already used in the original Telecaster guitars since the end of the 1950s and provides the basis for the perfect vintage sound. The body wood was selected by hand to ensure a particularly light weight and thus improve playing comfort. The aged maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard features a Large "C" profile in the style of the 60s and a fingerboard radius of 9,5", which offers the perfect compromise between vintage feel and modern comfort. The guitar is equipped with a classic S-S pickup combination of two Fender Custom Shop Handwound '58 Tele® single coils. Other features include Fender Vintage Style Tuner, Dome Speed knobs with a nickel finish, a Fender '60 Style Tele® Bridge with compensated brass barrel saddles and a 3-ply mint green 8-hole pickguard.
This model is painted in a classic Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst. The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish ensures that the wood can vibrate particularly well and that the lacquer finish ages more beautifully. The most extreme of Fender's Relic levels, Heavy Relic evokes the spirit of the most tried and worn Fender instruments in history. If you want a guitar that looks like it hasn't left your side since the dawn of rock ‘n’ roll, this is the right finish for you.
The Fender LTD Custom Shop 60 Telecaster Heavy Relic Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst comes with a certificate of authenticity in a luxurious original Fender Custom Shop Brown Tolex case and orange interior, allowing you to safely transport your new dream guitar and protect it from external influences. A Custom Shop strap is also included.
