After the resounding success of the Precision Bass it was time in 1960 to complement the precision of the first mass-produced electric bass. With the versatility of the Jazz Bass: two single-coil pickups are positioned so that their respective low/mid emphasis differs markedly. Their characteristics can be blended freely. The slim neck facilitates faster playing.
